Registration for the 2026-27 Academic Year Is Now Open

For returning student registration, visit the PowerSchool Parent Portal and choose "Registration" from the navigation menu.

Enroll In Four Easy Steps:

1. Locate
Use the school locator to confirm which school your child will attend.
2. Apply

Create an account (or login to your existing account) and submit an application. Please use the appropriate form based on which school year you are enrolling your child into:

Allow 15 minutes to finish the form for each new student. Submit a new application for each new student.

3. Complete Forms and Deliver Documents
Print the forms listed below. Fill them out and bring them along with the child's original birth certificate to the enrolling school.

All New Students Pre-K Students Only 1st-8th Grade Students New to District 39 Only
4. Pay Fees
Fees for returning students have been assessed and may be paid through the PowerSchool Parent Portal now. Fees for new students will be assessed within two weeks of completion of the enrollment steps. You will receive an email from the District 39 Business Office with instructions on how to pay fees.

McKinney-Vento eligible children are those who lack a fixed, regular and adequate nighttime abode. In general, children or youth living in motels, transitional housing, shelters, the street, cars, abandoned buildings, and other inadequate accommodations may be considered eligible for McKinney-Vento services.
