District 39 Earns Aaa Rating From Moody's Investors Service

Wilmette District 39 has been awarded the highest possible rating, an Aaa, from Moody’s Investors Service. The Aaa bond rating for General Obligation Limited Tax School Bonds (GOLT) is at the top of Moody’s rating scale and is reflective of the District’s commitment to financial responsibility, stability, and long-term planning.

Important Communication from D39 – Feb. 20, 2023
02/20/2023
This morning, we received notification from the Wilmette Police Department (WPD) regarding phoned-in threats made toward several north suburban schools, including Wilmette Junior High School, in what was an apparent “swatting” incident. The WPD responded immediately to investigate. Officers were onsite at WJHS to conduct a full and thorough sweep of the WJHS campus.

Registration Now Open for 2023-24 Academic Year

Registration for the 2023-24 academic year is now open. Registration for returning students is done through the PowerSchool Parent Portal. For students who will be new to D39, www.wilmette39.org/enroll has all of the information necessary to guide you through the registration process.

Board of Education Approves Summer Construction Projects
12/13/2022
The District 39 Board of Education approved bids for facility improvements, including further air conditioning inside District 39 schools, at last night’s regular business meeting. Following this Board approval, D39 will proceed with construction projects at four buildings (Central Elementary, Harper Elementary, Highcrest Middle School, and Romona Elementary) during Summer 2023.
