National Good Neighbor Day Celebration
The Wilmette Public Library is hosting a National Good Neighbor Day Celebration for the whole family on September 18 from 4-5pm, including service project activities for all ages. Snacks, crafts, and giveaways will be provided.
Ralph Shayne Author Visit
The Wilmette Public Library also really excited to host local author Ralph Shayne, writer of Hour of Need: The Daring Escape of the Danish Jews during World War II: A Graphic Novel, on Monday, October 5 from 6:30pm - 7:30pm. It is also hosted in celebration of Freedom to Read week. The program that is geared for tweens through adults, More information can be found on the website. There will also have free copies of Hour of Need to give away to attending kids and teens, while supplies last.
