Registration for the 2026-27 Academic Year
Registration for the 2026-27 school year remains open! ALL students, including those already attending D39 schools, must register for the 2026-27 academic year. If you have not already, we encourage families to please register your child(ren) as soon as possible. Early registration helps us plan for class placement and staffing, and ensure we are able to hire the very best teachers around!

• For returning students, visit the PowerSchool Parent Portal, click on the registration link, and follow the instructions.
• For students new to D39, visit wilmette39.org/enroll for instructions on the new student registration process.

Strategic Plan Focus Group Opportunities
As District 39 begins the process to develop our next multi-year strategic plan, gathering input from various stakeholder groups, including our families and community members, is an important step. Your perspective and input will play an important role in charting the path for District 39 over the next five years.

To assist us in our work, parents, caregivers, and community members are invited to participate in one of two focus groups:

• An afternoon focus group on Thursday, February 19 from 1:30-2:45 pm; OR
• An evening focus group on Thursday, February 19 from 7:00-8:30 pm

Both focus groups will be held at the Mikaelian Education Center (615 Locust Rd.). Interested participants are asked to register online to secure your free electronic ticket (afternoon session | evening session).

No preparation is needed for this focus group; just a willingness to share your valuable feedback and perspective as well as an eagerness to participate in this important planning process. Thank you in advance for your partnership, support, and input.

The District 39 Educational Foundation is Looking for Trustees!
The D39 Educational Foundation is seeking enthusiastic and committed volunteers to serve on the Foundation’s Board of Trustees for the 2026-2027 school year and beyond. Trustees will serve a three-year term and collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and community members to fund transformative educational opportunities (such as ClassVR, the HMS Living Wall, Logitech Crayons, and elementary school murals) and organize engaging fundraising and community events (such as College Paddle Night, Family Bingo, and Trivia Night). The Board meets monthly during the school year and offers several social events to help build strong relationships among this dedicated team. Interested? We’d love to hear from you! Please contact Summer Kays by April 1 for more information.
