 Chicago as the Hub of Transportation and Industrialization

Our class went the to Chicago Historical Society to view their special exhibit called "Go West!" It showed many artifacts about Chicago and American Expansion. We learned about Chicago when it was the nation's railway hub between 1865 and 1915. We saw how industry changed the way people lived in Chicago. Here are some of the things we learned and saw:
