Navy Pier is one of the biggest piers in the world.

A brief history of this landmark/trademark:

Navy Pier has been a landmark since 1916. It is also a theme park with lots of things to do. For example, a ferris wheel, a crystle garden, an ice skating rink, an I Max theater, tour boats, and more!

The importance of this landmark/trademark to Chicago is:  Navy Pier is one of Chicago`s favorite places. It was also used for training by 60,000 US soldiers and 15,000 planes.
I think people should visit this landmark because:

Navy Pier is a place with lots of things to do and it is a very fun place to visit.
