| A brief history of this landmark: | The first hospital was built in Chicago in 1835 at the corner of Clark and Randolph streets. There were 42 hospitals in Chicago in 2004. |
| The importance of this landmark to Chicago is: | Hospitals are important because they help when people don't feel well. |
| I think people should visit this landmark because: | You can help people when they do not feel well. It is nice if you know somebody in the hospital who is sick to visit and say, "Hi." |
