Lakefront-Chicago Harbors

Above you will see one Chicago Harbor, at one angle. Can you see the bridge in the backround? Now it is time for you to learn one fact about harbors. Did you know that Chicago Harbors are all over? My favorite Harbor is Diversy Harbor. The reason why it is my favorite harbor is because it is beautiful!
Above you will see another Chicago Harbor at a different angle. Can you see the sections of land? And now it is timefor our HARBOR FACT! Did you know that the least amount of boats that a harbor can hold is 100? I think that that is cool!
Here is one more Chicago Harbor. This one has a bridge in the front of it. Can you see some of the boats in the background? And know it is time for our Harbor fact! Did you know that the most popular harbors are in Chicago? I think that people should use Chicago Harbors because the boats are pretty!

A brief history of this landmark: The most popular harbors are in Lake Michigan. Chicago Park District's Lakefront harbors stretch from Lincoln Park to the Northern Part of Chicago. Harbors are a place to park boats, and load cargo. A small harbor parks 100 boats, at least! Harbor, dock, and river improvements helped Chicago become an important port on the seaway.
The importance of this landmark to Chicago is: Chicago Harbors are here because people park boats there.
I think people should visit this landmark because:  I think that people should visit this landmark because you can sail, and look at all the different types of boats.
