meets at the start of the school day for twenty minutes.

HMS Student of the Month Breakfast
HMS
recognizes students each month to promote a highlighted character
trait. Students’ names
are announced, certificates are awarded, and a group
picture is posted.
HMS hosts
a monthly
breakfast
to
honor the recognized students. The following traits are discussed during
homeroom each month.

- HOMEROOM
HAPPENINGS AT HIGHCREST
Many homerooms at Highcrest participate in community
service projects. Some of Highcrest's previous projects have included:collecting
toiletries
for moms and children in shelters, raising money to adopt animals,
collecting old tennis shoes for the Nike Recycling program. Ask your
child what their homeroom is planning for this year!
