About D39 School Improvement Plans

In the fall, each School Improvement Team, comprised of teachers, staff, administrators, and parents, meets to establish a yearly School Improvement Plan (SIP) with specific goals for each school. The teams use information from the prior year’s SIP, standardized test results, the District’s benchmark study, and school-specific information to formulate goals with explicit deliverables or actions and accountability measures. In addition, the Board of Education sets goals for Dr. Lechner and the District.
