Transfers

Individual transfers between attendance areas within the school system may be granted in cases of special problems in areas such as: family supervision, change of residence, social/physical/psychological conditions including a need for a change of school environment.

Transfers between school attendance areas within the school system may also be granted by individual request to the Board of Education for the purpose of attempting to equalize enrollment.

Transfers, when made, shall remain in effect indefinitely but are subject to review each year by the Board of Education.

Unless otherwise provided by the Board of Education, parent(s)/ guardian(s) shall be responsible for the transportation for any child when a transfer is granted.
