A platoon is a group of soldiers that has been deployed (sent) to another country for many months. Soldiers often become home sick and miss their families. Harper school will send care packages and letters to our platoon of soldiers while they are gone to cheer them up and remind them we care! Classroom teachers will sign up for a month for a class to be in charge of the care package and letter writing. |

What do we give? Classroom Teachers will choose a theme from the suggestion list. Please go along with the class theme to aide in the shipping process.

How will we know what's going on? Student Council will be in charge of a bulletin board in the hallways of Harper to report the status of Adopt a Platoon, packages that are sent, and letters we receive from the soldiers.
