Information for Job Candidates
Wilmette Public School District 39 provides excellent educational
opportunities for students through a highly professional teaching
and support staff. If you are interested in becoming part of
this great team, you will find information here on open positions
and how to apply for employment.
It
is our goal to recruit and select the best qualified candidates.
You can learn about current open positions through our website.
From this same website, you can complete an online application
that will make your information instantly available to all district
administrators at all school buildings who share the responsibility
for hiring. It is not necessary or helpful to send information
to each school building individually. For teaching positions,
we regrettably can only interview a small percentage of those
who apply. It is not necessary to send supportive documentation
at the time of application. However, if contacted for an interview,
please come prepared with:
- current resume and cover letter
- copies
of all post high-school transcripts
- a copy of your teaching certificate
- four current reference contacts; at least one supervisory
