Foundation News - Fall 2011Fall 2011 Gripp Grants announced!The Foundation will be funding six new initiatives in D39 schools this fall. Among the grants: new District-wide fitness tracking software; games and exercises for WJHS "Brain Fitness Day"; curriculum-linked games for Harper kindergarten classes; a professional woodwinds quartet concert and master class for band students; integrating iPads into a first grade classroom's learning centers; and new resources on developing executive functioning skills in the early grades. Our MissionThe District 39 Educational Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, raises funds for projects that expand, enrich, and complement educational opportunities for the students, staff, and community in Wilmette District 39.
