| Central School was given a special flag three years ago by Mrs. Zajecka in honor her mother Joanna B. Demski who served as a WAC in the Air Force. Third grade students learned about the meaning of the red poppy to veterans and created hundreds of miniature paper red poppies to be given to the veterans who are in hospitals around Chicagoland. |
