Sharing
What We Have Learned |
The Wilmette differentiation
support team has been fortunate and honored to share our learning
and
practical experiences
with other school districts and at local, state, and national conferences.
Our support model initiated in 1998 continues to be unique, and many
educators are interested in how we implement a design that provides
ongoing
teacher
support with planning, resources and training.
Our first experience presenting began
when Dr. James Curry invited us to co-present at the 1999 NAGC
conference in Albuquerque, NM. We shared our staff development
model and our curriculum
differentiation initiative with participants. (staff
development presentation) From that point on we have enjoyed
numerous experiences and have met some really outstanding educators across the country! |
Our Sharing Opportunities
We have hosted
over 20 teams from local, state and out-of-state districts answering questions, reviewing our model,
and providing on-site observations. We welcome your inquiries and invite you to gain from our successes. (questions?
please contact Cathy
Flemming.)
